Mary Carewe and keyboard player Steven Jeffries have worked together in the recording studio for many years, writing and producing songs as well as recording extensively for others but this is their first live venture.
They have chosen to honour the female songwriters and artists who have changed the face of pop music over the last 50 years, but this is no 'tribute' band - instead the evocative arrangements capture the heart of the songs whilst being unique to the FIRST LADIES OF SONG project.

They have chosen to work with vocalists and musicians who share their enormous passion for music making from the heart, integrity and a sense of fun.
